It has been reported in Kuala Lumpur that the police acted to forestall a serious threat to Malaysian national security when they nabbed 10 terror suspects with links to international terrorist organisations.
The report went on to say that nine foreigners and a Malaysian, believed to be linked to the terrorist attempt to blow up a US-bound flight on Christmas Day, were caught with incriminating evidence.
Some may not know that Malaysia is a Muslim country and its southern neighbor Indonesia has the larges Islamic population in the world.
Our government must not be totally focused on Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen. There is a GWOT even though many in the Administration cannot recognize this.
