Funny I did not see this in the major network news but Spain’s Prime Minister Jose Rodriguez Zapatero is under fire form his opposition for his coziness with Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez – saw this in the WSJ.
It seems that Chavez has given support to the Spanish terror group ETA.
Zapatero has asked Chavez to explain how and why the Colombian terrorist group FARC is working with ETA. However, Venezuela is a major trading partner with Spain.
Some 300,000 Spaniards live in Venezuela, which after Argentina is the second largest Spanish group living abroad.
It is well documented through captured materials and interviews with FARC deserters that top Venezuela military and Intelligence officers are engaged in supplying the FARC with weapons and money.
