The value of the WikiLeaks documents, as reported by the news media granted early access to them, may be to historians who write books and political pundits who keep banging the drums that we’re loosing in Iraq but no value to most of us.
The so called leaks are nothing compared to the “Pentagon Papers,” which showed that the American public was mislead on Vietnam.
So why are the WiniLeaks getting headlines and legs to a boring story because there is nothing new to Americans that has not been exposed before. The answer is ignorant people who are making a story out of nothing. People are giving WikiLeaks credit for something they do not deserve.
The real danger is the names and incidents where our Iraqi allies are exposed to the dangers of mortal retribution.
