My wife and just returned from a Mediterranean cruise which include two stops in Israel, Haifa for the Galilee area, and Ashdod, Jerusa;em area. The we stopped in Egypt, Port Said and Alexandria.
It was interesting to see in Israel that all freeway traffic signs were in Hebrew, Arabic and English. Then in Port said and Alexandria the signs were in Arabic and English.
Some years ago while in the USMC Reserve I attended the Canadian Command And Staff College (Militia) where we had all training books and materials in English and the reverse or opposite pages were in French.
Should we be a multilingual nation?
What would it hurt in the Western part of the US and Florida to have some things in English and Spanish?
